Lisa Taber

Hello, I’m Lisa, your friendly Product Director at Animals.com. It’s my job to make sure our site is useful and engaging for animal aficionados from all walks of life.

Our goal here at Animals.com is to build a dynamic community of folks who can share their knowledge, experiences and ideas about how to do something positive for animals, and engage and influence the tens of thousands of people coming to the site every month (and growing!) to find information or just indulge their curiosity about animals.

If you want to help encourage wildlife conservation and the humane treatment of animals by contributing on Animals.com as a writer, photographer or nonprofit partner, I’d love to talk—just drop me a note.

Personally, I’m big fan of wild animals, and concerned about finding ways to protect biodiversity that are also conducive to human development. And I’m a sucker for black labs and baby animals of all kinds (who isn’t?).

Before turning to a career in Internet entrepreneurship, my professional life at the World Bank centered on how to make sustainable development a reality. Protecting wildlife and their habitats is to my mind a central part of creating sustainable economies.

Whatever your perspectives or priorities, I hope you’ll help make Animals.com the place to exchange ideas and information, and to motivate and educate one another and the public about what we can do, together, to make the world a more hospitable place for all us animals!
