Can we eat turkey on Thanksgiving in good conscience? PETA makes it hard to swallow.
Wed, 19 Nov 2008
The New York Times writes on PETA's disturbing undcover vidoes of turkey farm workers in West Virginia brutalizing the birds sometimes for sport. PETA says we should stop eating turkeys to end the cruelt-- even has a video game where you can play the part of a bloodied, knife wielding mom preparing Tom for Thanksgiving dinner. What is a conscientious carnivore to do? What do you think?
